ACS Science Fair was held on May 1, 2017.
Namitha presented "the Power of Mud" and illustrated how we can pond and manufactured mud to grow bacteria that will produce a biofilm to produce energy.
Portia and Martina showed us tthat using salt as a preservative on fries desicates them so that they won't mould or rot.
Rory's project on Cryogenic illustrated how protists can be frozen in liguid nitrogen and then thawed back to life using cyopreservants such as glycerol and DMSO.
Congratulations to our students for performing some outstanding science!
